MAXICAT VICTORIA is a 33.5-metre catamaran built by Multiplast in 2000, originally designed and campaigned as a racing yacht. She carries a distinguished history, having competed in The Race 2001 round-the-world regatta. The hull combines lightweight carbon materials with an innovative catamaran design that delivers both speed and stability. Her high-performance rig features a 39.5-metre rotating carbon mast paired with Doyle sails, supporting cruising speeds of 6 knots and a maximum speed of 9 knots.
The yacht has been extensively refitted in 2017 and 2023 to transition her from a racing platform into a fast cruising yacht suited to smaller crews. The two Yanmar diesel engines provide reliable auxiliary power. Interior layout accommodates up to 10 people, with a clear separation between owner's quarters and crew spaces, allowing comfortable extended voyaging without the demands of a large team.
The catamaran is equipped with advanced navigation systems and Starlink satellite connectivity. Power generation relies on an autonomous energy system comprising solar panels and wind turbines, reducing dependency on fuel. This combination of systems supports extended passages with genuine self-sufficiency at sea, balancing modern comfort with offshore capability.
