The Rupert D40 is a 41-foot rigid inflatable boat built to professional offshore standards and designed for serious coastal and open-water work. Twin Yanmar 6LP diesel engines deliver 300 horsepower each, paired with counter-rotating Bravo One sterndrives and twin four-blade stainless steel propellers. The boat achieves speeds over 45 knots with a cruising range of approximately 300 nautical miles at 40 knots, carrying up to six passengers and two crew.
The layout features six jockey seats and two shock-mitigating jockey seats distributed across the open helm area. Forward and under-seat storage compartments provide practical stowage. The 600-liter fuel tank is fabricated from acid-proof stainless steel. Navigation and communication systems include a SIMRAD NSS evo3S 12-inch display, HALO24 radar, AIS/VHF transceiver, and GPS antenna. Additional equipment encompasses professional LOPOLIGHT navigation lights, hydraulic steering, dual self-draining systems, electric and manual bilge pumps, a bilge alarm, Vision X spotlights, a searchlight, and an electric air pump.
The boat was comprehensively rebuilt between 2020 and 2023, with documentation of substantial work throughout. Both engines received new timing and servo belts, and the turbochargers were professionally rebuilt. New exhaust risers were installed, along with new MerCruiser transom assemblies and power trim systems. The hull underwent complete professional repaint, and new Fenderline tubes and upholstery were fitted. Both sterndrives were professionally rebuilt in June 2023. The boat has approximately 1,120 engine hours and has been serviced annually since new.
