The 2000 Sea Ray 380 Sundancer is a 38-foot cruiser built on a deep-V fiberglass hull with twin MerCruiser 454 Horizon gasoline engines producing 740 horsepower combined. The boat cruises at 25 knots and reaches a top speed of 37 knots, with trim tabs for improved handling and stability. Recent engine work includes a complete rebuild of the port engine and new valve jobs with springs, rockers, and push rods on both engines—all completed within the last 100 hours.
Below deck, the cabin features maple and cherry cabinetry throughout. The salon includes a 10-foot convertible sofa with a custom dining table, and a private forward stateroom with a door. The aft lounge converts electrically into a double berth. A VacuFlush head with separate shower and reverse-cycle air conditioning provide comfort, along with flat-screen smart TVs in the salon and stateroom and a KVH M3 satellite TV system. The galley is equipped with a new full-size Norcold refrigerator-freezer, two-burner electric stove, microwave, and large sink.
The cockpit features a U-shaped seating arrangement with a removable table, adjustable helm seat, wet bar, and cockpit shower. Recent additions include new canvas and isinglass, a new Magma BBQ, and an electric windshield vent. A Westerbeke 7KW generator, new electric windlass, shore power, VHF radio, and marine stereo round out the mechanical systems. The bottom was recently painted with Prop Speed coating applied to the propellers.
