2000 Tiara Yachts 4000 Express

The 2000 Tiara 4000 Express is a 40-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by twin Cummins 6CTA 8.3 diesel engines with 295 hours on the gauges. The starboard engine was replaced in 2019, and the port engine was completely rebuilt from top to bottom at the same time. Both powerplants deliver strong, dependable performance and cruise at 20.86 knots. The boat features a bow thruster for confident maneuvering and docking.

The layout reflects Tiara's design priorities: a master stateroom with queen berth and an aft cabin with double berth, each offering seven feet of headroom. The salon and galley are thoughtfully appointed, while the cockpit is generous and functional. Wide side decks, integral grab handles, and an oversized step support safe passage fore and aft. An expansive 105-cubic-foot transom compartment provides substantial storage for gear.

Updates and equipment reflect comprehensive care: new canvas and glass installed in fall 2024, new batteries replaced in 2024, and an Onan generator with 1,117 hours. The navigation suite includes Garmin electronics with autopilot, rear view camera, and engine room camera. Climate control, heat and air conditioning, satellite TV, JL Audio sound system, and a central vacuum system support comfortable cruising. The boat also carries a Freedom Lift dinghy hoist, Bennett trim tab system, Seadek flooring on the cockpit and swim platform, underwater lights, LED interior lighting, and spare propellers.
