2000 Viking 72 Convertible

This 2000 Viking 72 Convertible is a full-featured sportfishing yacht with an enclosed flying bridge and proven construction. Twin MTU diesel engines delivering 1,800 horsepower each drive the boat to 30 knots, with a cruising speed of 25 knots. The hull and superstructure have been repainted, and the interior has been updated. The fuel system includes an optional third tank for a total capacity of 2,850 gallons; water capacity is 350 gallons.

The accommodation layout comprises four staterooms and four heads. The master stateroom spans the full beam forward, with a day head positioned in the salon. Below, the cockpit provides 215 square feet of working space, outfitted with live wells, freezers for food and bait, and storage for tackle and gear. A mezzanine deck overlooks the action below. The engine room is generously proportioned, allowing clear access around and between the two power plants.

The enclosed flying bridge features a raised lounge with panoramic sightlines, a wet bar, and entertainment equipment, accessed via a spiral staircase. An additional lounge area provides comfortable seating while underway or at anchor, with unobstructed views throughout the bridge.
