2007 Hatteras 68 Convertible

This 2007 Hatteras 68 Convertible is a fully enclosed fishing yacht built around proven construction methods and solid engineering. The hull features a convex bottom with a full fiberglass stringer system and Divinycell foam-cored bulkheads for stiffness in the hull sides, decks, and superstructure. A tunnel design keeps the draft to 5'3", a notable advantage for a boat of this displacement. Two Caterpillar diesel engines produce 3,600 horsepower combined.

The enclosed design prioritizes comfort and quiet running, with air conditioning throughout the interior and a well-insulated cabin that reduces engine noise significantly. The cockpit spans approximately 195 square feet, providing ample room for fishing and working on deck. The beam measures 21'6", contributing to the generous layout and stability.

Recent work includes new generators installed in November 2018, a new teak cockpit sole, new hull paint in 2020, and a faux teak toe rail.
