This 43-footer was designed by Ed Dubois and built by Wauquiez in 2000 as a serious offshore cruiser. The fiberglass hull features a deep-draft bulb fin keel, wheel steering, and spade rudder, with teak-laid decks and cockpit renewed in 2020. The boat is powered by an 88-horsepower Yammer 4JH2-DTE diesel engine with shaft drive to a three-blade prop; the engine has run 230 hours since its major service in 2020.
The yacht carries substantial systems for extended cruising: a Superpower 110 24-volt bowthruster, seven batteries installed in 2023, a Panda generator with 349 hours, and 560 watts of solar panels. An Aquabase watermaker produces 90 liters per hour. A Lewmar electric windlass handles ground tackle. The cutter-rigged sloop carries standing rigging replaced in 2023, fully battened Quantum mainsail from 2015, and a 2015 furling genoa with new furler drums. Lewmar ST 54/44/40 winches handle sail control. Electronics are primarily Raymarine, including a C90W plotter with radar display, ST7001 autopilot, radar, satellite phone, and wireless network. Navigation systems run on a Seatalk network. A three-meter Highfield tender with six-horsepower Tohatsu outboard is included.
Accommodation is arranged across three cabins plus the saloon, with berths for five or six. The aft cabin includes an ensuite, the forward cabin is a good-sized double, and a single cabin sits to starboard. The saloon provides headroom and visibility, with a raised navigation station, well-designed galley with ample storage, and two Jabsco manual heads plus two showers. Upholstery and curtains were renewed in July 2023. A 45-liter calorifier, top-opening Brandt Premia washing machine, refrigerator, freezer, and holding tank complete the interior.
Since 2019, over €85,000 has been invested in upgrades and improvements throughout the yacht.
