The 2001 Beneteau Oceanis 44 CC is a fiberglass cruising sailboat 44 feet in length with a 14-foot beam. Powered by a single Yanmar 4JH3-TE diesel engine producing 75 horsepower, she features a bow thruster and direct drive configuration. The boat accommodates two cabins and two heads, designed for extended cruising.
Extensive systems work was completed in 2023 and 2024. The electrical system now includes a new 4 x 125 AH lithium battery bank, Victron 300-watt inverter, Victron Orion-TR DC-DC isolated converter, and Victron Battery Monitor. A 120V shore power inlet with 50 feet of cord was installed, alongside a portable 2000-watt step-down transformer. The boat carries a Honda EU2200i generator with minimal use (94 hours). Navigation equipment includes a B&G 48-mile radar transmitter.
Engine and mechanical components received recent attention. The Yanmar turbocharger and heat exchanger were replaced in 2024. The stainless steel prop shaft and cutlass bearings are new, as is the spinnaker pole halyard. A new Jabsco ParMax3 freshwater pump was installed in 2024. All sanitation hoses and manual Jabsco head pumps were replaced in 2023. The freezer compressor fan was also renewed in 2023. Engine hours total 3812 as of April 2024, with all maintenance current.
Interior updates include a 32-inch TCL Roku television and a Tempur-Pedic mattress topper for the aft owner's cabin.
