2001 Californian 39

The 2001 Californian 39 is a 42-foot fiberglass cruiser built with thoughtful design throughout. Twin Volvo diesel engines rated at 300 horsepower each provide reliable propulsion, supported by a Northern Lights 5KW generator and ZF transmissions. The helm station features 360-degree visibility and is positioned at a raised lower level, with molded stairs leading to the flybridge. The boat includes trim tabs, a diesel furnace, and a full complement of navigation electronics including Raymarine GPS, plotter, radar, VHF, and autopilot.

The interior centers on two queen staterooms, each with its own ensuite head and enclosed shower. The master cabin is located midship with a double island berth, cedar-lined hanging locker, opening ports, and ample storage. The forward VIP guest stateroom mirrors the master with the same layout and head configuration. Seven feet of headroom throughout the salon, maple wood trim, and 12-volt lighting create a comfortable living space, with a sliding door providing access to the cockpit.

The galley is equipped with a Force 10 two-burner electric stove, Sharp microwave, double sink, and a full-height refrigerator with freezer. Electrical systems include a 2000-watt inverter, 30-amp shore power inlet with cord, and a 12KVA ISO transformer. The deck features non-skid surfaces, stainless rails, navigation lights, cockpit courtesy lighting, a transom door, spare anchor, and a bimini top. A flybridge davit and tender storage are included, along with a large tender.
