2001 Catalina 310
About This Yacht
The 2001 Catalina 310 is a 31-foot fiberglass sloop designed for couple cruising with the capacity to comfortably accommodate daytripping guests. The hull balances stability with easy handling, featuring wide side decks for safe foredeck work and thoughtfully arranged sail controls and anchoring systems suited to short-handed operation. The cockpit includes numerous large lockers for stowing cruising gear and inflatables.
Below deck, the layout prioritizes the owner's cabin forward with a centerline queen berth, innerspring mattress, and abundant storage on both port and starboard. The main cabin features plush upholstery and comfortable seating; a bulkhead opening with built-in hardware allows TV viewing from either cabin. A large double berth aft serves as guest accommodation. Natural light and ventilation throughout are hallmarks of the design.
The galley is well-appointed with a two-burner stove and oven, front and top access refrigerator, deep stainless steel sink, and extensive storage. The head has a separate shower compartment and accessible through-hull fittings with a Y-valve to the holding tank. Systems are designed for ease of maintenance: two 4D deep-cycle batteries with electronic charger, quality fixtures, and readily accessible pumps, valves, and filters. The single Universal diesel engine produces 23 horsepower and delivers a cruising speed of 6 knots.
