2001 Catalina 42 MkII

This 2001 Catalina 42 Mark II is a two-stateroom cruising sailboat built in fiberglass with a beam of 13 feet 8 inches. The boat is powered by a 56-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine and features a 2-bladed fixed propeller, with a folding 2-bladed prop also on board.

The interior includes two cabins with center-line queen berths and two heads. The main salon features a table that converts to a cushion. Deck equipment includes a cockpit table and swim ladder.

Recent updates to the boat include a new jib in 2015, a main sail and stack pack system added in 2020, and new canvas in 2020. The prop was replaced in 2016. A haul-out was performed in July 2024, during which two new batteries and a new cutlass bearing were installed. Original sails are available with the boat.
