The Hunter 320 is a 32-foot fiberglass cruiser built for comfortable short-handed sailing. Hunter's design combines a powerful B&R backstayless rig with reduced weight aloft—achieved through mast struts and smaller mast sections—to minimize pitching and rolling while maintaining rig strength. The low profile and long waterline deliver solid performance both upwind and off the wind. A signature stainless steel arch clears the cockpit of the mainsheet and traveler, provides sturdy handholds, and supports optional canvas and equipment.
Below deck, the layout centers on two private cabins with solid bulkhead separation. The forward V-berth features a cedar-lined hanging locker, overhead hatch with solar vent fan, and storage below. The aft cabin includes an athwartship bunk and cedar-lined double hanging locker. The salon runs the full width with teak and holly flooring, teak grab rails, and abundant natural light from two opening hatches and large overhead windows. The salon table extends and lowers to create an additional berth. Storage shelves flank the settees, and a flat-screen TV is installed.
The galley includes a Force 10 two-burner gimbaled gas stove with oven, an Origo turntable microwave, and a top-load refrigerator with ice trays. A deep stainless steel sink with cutting board insert and fiddled countertop offer practical workspace, with storage positioned below and outboard. The head is private with a wood door, vanity, sink, shower, and large side port. The navigation desk houses AC and DC breaker panels, tank gauges, map light, and Sony stereo, with additional storage inside.
Topside, the boat carries a Simpson Lawrence anchor windlass, stainless bow pulpit, double-row lifelines gated at the cockpit, and an SS anchor roller. The Fuller roller furling system and in-mast furling mainsail simplify sail handling. Six rope clutches and Lewmar two-speed self-tailing winches with covers support deck operations. The cockpit features dual Raymarine ST40 instruments (depth and knot meter), an EV100 autopilot, fold-out tables on each side, built-in ice box, and a removable companionway door with screen insert. Forward and aft Bimini tops, cockpit cushions, and a telescoping swim ladder complete the setup. The Yanmar 2GM20F diesel inboard has 440 hours and runs clean and dry.
