The Hunter 340 is a 33.5-foot fiberglass sailing yacht designed for both weekend trips and extended cruising. Built in 2001, it features a fractional rig with swept-back spreaders and a large-roach mainsail that performs well in varying conditions without requiring a backstay. The single 27-horsepower Yammer diesel engine provides reliable auxiliary power.
Topside, the cockpit incorporates Hunter's signature arch for mainsheet control and weather protection, with a walk-through transom, swim platform, and generous seating. Below deck, the two-cabin layout includes a spacious saloon, full galley, and a single head with shower suitable for longer passages or anchored stays.
The boat has received consistent maintenance and upgrades in recent years. The transmission, cutlass bearing, and propeller were replaced in 2024, with the propeller changed from a three-blade flex-o-fold to a fixed two-blade design. Starter batteries were renewed in 2025, along with installation of a propane grill with rail mount and replacement of the starter motor. A 100-watt solar panel with MPPT charge controller was added in 2021. In 2026, the bottom was soda blasted, barrier coated, and given fresh bottom paint.
