2001 Mainship 390 Trawler

The 2001 Mainship 390 Trawler is a fiberglass-hulled motor yacht built for extended cruising. Powered by a single 330-horsepower Cummins diesel engine, it reaches a cruising speed of 8.3 knots at displacement and a maximum speed of around 16 knots. The design combines traditional trawler proportions with practical modern amenities, offering a fuel-efficient range suitable for long-distance travel at economical speeds.

The boat features a spacious two-stateroom, one-head layout. The master stateroom includes a center island berth with cedar-lined lockers and storage drawers. The guest stateroom has twin single berths with hanging locker and cabinetry. The head contains a molded fiberglass shower stall, electric toilet, built-in vanity, and storage. The galley is fully equipped with a range, oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator, Corian countertops, and abundant under- and over-counter storage. The main salon features an expansive lower helm station with full instrumentation and windshield, warm teak joinery, large windows, and a convertible UltraLeather sofa.

The large flybridge accommodates six with seating, a drop-leaf table, and excellent centerline helm visibility. Wide, protected walkarounds with high bulwarks and a molded swim platform with integrated ladder provide safe deck access. Dual shore power inlets at bow and stern support 30-amp connections. The boat includes a 7-horsepower bow thruster, two air-conditioning units, dual battery systems, a 2022 Phasor 8kw generator, and a backup camera. A life raft and Danforth dinghy davits system are on board.

Recent work completed in 2022 included a full engine service by Atlantic Marine Diesel Repair, new battery charger and batteries, and replacement of flybridge throttle cables. The exterior received full detailing and wax in 2025, and the interior was fully detailed with compartment spaces. The boat comes with a comprehensive spare parts and stores inventory.
