2001 Mainship 390 Trawler

This 2001 Mainship 390 is a solid fiberglass trawler with a modified-vee hull and a single Cummins 330 hp diesel engine. The boat shows approximately 5,080 hours on the engine, which has received recent comprehensive mechanical service including new starter, heat exchanger, raw water pump, coolant pump, and all hoses. A complete oil and coolant change was performed at 4,853 hours, with zincs changed annually. The transmission was serviced at 3,600 hours. Cruising speed is 7 knots at 1,600 RPM burning roughly 3 gallons per hour, with a maximum speed of 15.5 knots at 2,800 RPM.

The accommodations sleep four across two staterooms: a master cabin forward with an island queen berth, cedar-lined and hanging lockers, and overhead hatch; and a guest cabin aft with a converted queen berth. The main salon features an L-shaped galley to port with a three-burner electric stove, microwave, Corian counters, and a Nova Kool refrigerator-freezer overhauled in 2024. A separate under-counter refrigerator was added in 2024. The head is generous with a separate shower and fresh water Vacuflush toilet installed in 2025. A lower helm sits to starboard with side door access; aft is a navy futon and table.

The flybridge—newly enclosed in 2020 with dark green canvas extension—is equipped with a full helm station featuring Raymarine ST70 autopilot, Raymarine E90 radar and fishfinder, an ICOM VHF radio updated in 2025, and a Garmin GPS. Seating accommodates six on bench seats plus a double-wide helm chair. A Sidepower bow thruster, Bennett trim tabs, and a Lewmar windlass with remote control are standard. Electrical systems include a Kohler 8kw generator with 900 hours, dual 8D batteries, new 2025 aft bilge pump, and four total bilge pumps.

The fiberglass hull has no outside brightwork. Decks are white fiberglass with aluminum rails and high bulwarks, featuring a wide swim platform and centerline transom door. Equipment includes a 2022 Zodiac dinghy with Mercury 8 hp outboard and davits, stainless steel grill, fresh and saltwater washdowns, and a 12V compressor diving system with 100 feet of hose.
