2001 Mangusta 80

This 2001 Mangusta 80 is an 80-foot fiberglass motor yacht built by Overmarine with clean, sporty lines and a deep-V hull design. Twin MTU 16V 2000 M90 diesel engines produce 3,600 combined horsepower and push the yacht to a maximum speed of 46 knots, with a typical cruising speed of 37 knots. The boat is equipped with Arneson surface drives and has demonstrated strong performance characteristics.

Below decks, the yacht accommodates four staterooms and four heads. The layout includes a full-beam master stateroom forward, three guest cabins—one with a double berth, one with twin beds and a pullman bunk—and crew quarters, each with ensuite facilities. The interior is appointed with modern decor and high-end finishes, including teak and holly flooring on the stairs. An expansive aft deck and generous bow sunpad provide entertaining space, with a tender garage also integrated into the design.

The yacht carries substantial systems for extended cruising, including two 16kW Kohler generators, a 120-gallon-per-hour HEM watermaker, and bow and stern thrusters. Navigation and autopilot systems include dual Garmin GPS chartplotters, a Garmin Fantom 54 radar, a Simrad AP48 autopilot, and a Vesper XB8000 AIS. Engine instrumentation uses MTU MDEC LCD displays in the engine room and at the helm.

Recent service and upgrades span 2017 through 2024, including new turbochargers, exhaust elbows, fuel system service, replacement battery banks, new navigation and entertainment electronics, a new stern thruster assembly, and various mechanical rebuilds. Propellers were rebalanced and fitted with Propspeed in 2024.
