The Tartan 4100 is a 41-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built in 2001 with a reputation for balanced design and capable sailing performance. She features a traditional cherry interior and the proportions of a serious offshore cruiser scaled to manageable owner-operator size. Power comes from a single 56-horsepower Yammer diesel engine.
The owner has invested substantially in upgrades over nearly two decades of stewardship. The hull received a blast and barrier coat in 2022. Sail inventory includes new Quantum main and jib from 2021, paired with Leisure Furl in-boom furling. The four-blade Max Prop and electric winches support modern sailing efficiency. Interior systems include a new Xantrex inverter/charger installed in 2023, a Quick USA 40-liter hot water heater from 2021, and a Marine Air reverse-cycle heat and air conditioning unit. A windlass, shore water inlet, and tender lifting arrangements support extended cruising.
Recent updates to canvas and soft goods include new dodger and bimini with connector fitted in 2024, along with cockpit cushions that same year. LED lighting was installed throughout in 2022, and lifelines were replaced in 2024. Fitted sheets and blankets are included.
