2001 Vitech 72

This 2001 Vitech 72 is a fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines producing 1,600 horsepower. The boat measures 72 feet in length with a generous 17.75-foot beam, proportions that enable an adaptable interior layout.

The accommodations comprise four staterooms, each with its own ensuite head. The interior showcases teak and bird's-eye maple joinery in gloss finish throughout. The galley has been outfitted with new appliances, and a custom Corian deck table and beverage fridge are installed on the California deck, with an icemaker positioned at the upper helm.

A comprehensive refit completed in 2020 addressed major systems and structural elements. The work included a custom hardtop over the flybridge with heat-sealed 80-mil polycarbonate windows and new Stamoid canvas. The electrical system received AGM battery replacement and a Charles isolation transformer for shore power hookup. New sanitation hoses, engine hoses, and cutlass bearings were installed throughout. The teak decks were sanded, replugged, and recaulked. All interior and exterior lighting was converted to LED. Additional upgrades include a large solar panel array with Victron voltage controller, a Cruise RO water maker system, and fiberglass hatches. A 13-foot Apex inflatable tender with 50-horsepower Yamaha outboard from 2019 is included.
