2002 Beneteau 50
About This Yacht
The Beneteau 50 is a fiberglass sailing yacht built in 2002, powered by a single 78 hp diesel engine. The deck layout features wide sidedecks with teak-covered bulwarks and strategically positioned hatches for safe movement. A dual cockpit arrangement includes a guest cockpit that seats eight around a table and a crew cockpit with two steering positions and accessible winches. A built-in step and hinged door at the stern lead to an open passageway connecting both cockpit areas.
The interior accommodates different sailing programs through two flexible layouts. The first option provides four double cabins, each with its own head compartment. The second arrangement offers two aft guest cabins paired with a forward master bedroom, with an optional crew cabin available in the forepeak. Interior finishes are available in standard wild cherry or optional teak.
Natural light and airflow are generous throughout the yacht. The design includes 11 opening hatches, 14 opening ports, 6 fixed skylights, and 4 dorade boxes to maximize ventilation and brightness across all living spaces.
