2002 Bimini Bonefisher

A 16-foot Bimini Bonefisher, hand-built by Bahamian boat builder Ansil Saunders. The wooden hull embodies classic design and craftsmanship characteristic of these custom flats skiffs, designed for shallow-water performance and bonefishing. The boat reaches speeds up to 40 mph and cruises comfortably at 35 mph, powered by a single 60-horsepower Yamaha outboard.

The open layout and shallow draft make this boat well-suited to flats fishing and light cruising. The wooden construction and timeless lines have earned the Bonefisher recognition as a distinctive small boat, combining traditional building methods with practical fishing functionality.
