The 2006 Scout 170 Costa is a 16.75-foot fiberglass flats boat powered by a Yamaha 115 hp four-stroke outboard with 183 hours on the engine. Designed in collaboration with fly-fishing legend Stu Apte, the boat draws only seven inches of draft and features Scout's stepped hull design for speed, efficiency, and quiet operation. The boat carries a full suite of fishing electronics and hardware: a Simrad NSS12 EVO3 multifunction display with Florida Marine Tracks, Yamaha digital instrumentation, Lenco trim tabs, a MotorGuide trolling motor, hydraulic steering, and a custom pop-up bow fishing platform with a push-pole tower. Rod storage accommodates up to twelve rods.
The boat includes three baitwells, a 6-foot Bimini top (unused since new), a swim ladder, and extensive integrated storage. A stainless steel propeller and a full custom cover are included. The helm features hydraulic steering for responsive control.
An aluminum Magic Tilt trailer in excellent condition is included with the boat.
