The 2002 Hinckley Picnic Boat 36 EP is a composite downeast boat built with a Kevlar E-glass hybrid hull and balsa core, finished in Jet Black Awlgrip topsides with light cream cabin house and a single cream bootstripe. At 36 feet with a 10-foot beam, she combines traditional styling with modern equipment and thoughtful construction throughout. The hull features Marelon seacocks, a fiberglass swim platform with teak treads, and a telescoping stainless steel swim ladder.

The pilothouse and cabin arrangement centers on comfortable cruising and entertaining. The enclosed pilothouse includes a Raymarine touchscreen MFD with autopilot, VHF, radar, and traditional instruments, with adjustable helm and passenger seats that swivel to face aft. Forward seating extends into an L-shaped settee with a convertible teak table that can lower to form a small berth. Below decks, the galley features stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressure water, an Adler Barbour 12-volt refrigerator, and generous storage. The electrical system includes 540 amps of 12-volt battery capacity with an 80-amp alternator, plus 110-volt shore power and an inverter. Mechanical systems include dual 1500 GPH bilge pumps, a 27-gallon holding tank, a 6-gallon hot water heater, and a Muir electric windlass with 22-pound anchor and 150 feet of rode. Twin fuel filters, full engine instrumentation, and comprehensive alarm systems support reliable operation.

The cockpit integrates entertaining and fishing spaces, with an engine box featuring a two-burner Force 10 propane grill, stainless steel sink, and storage drawer on an electric air-assist hinge for easy engine access. A full cockpit cover, shower, fishing rod holders, and numerous lockers round out the working and leisure deck space.
