This 2013 MJM 36z is a fiberglass downeast built with composite construction using epoxy, Kevlar, and Corecell for strength and low weight. Twin Volvo Penta D3 diesel engines each producing 220 horsepower drive twin Ocean X outdrives. A Northern Lights 5kW generator with minimal hours and a Side Power SE80 bow thruster complete the power package.
The interior includes a convertible table-to-berth arrangement and one head. Raymarine electronics comprise a hybrid touch plotter, radar, and autopilot. Climate control comes from a 16,000 BTU reverse-cycle heat and air conditioning system.
Recent service in 2024 included a complete starboard outdrive replacement with a new Volvo Ocean X drive, both shift cables, serviced heat exchangers, a new starboard trim cylinder and pump, and timing belt kits on both engines. The boat spent its first five years in Massachusetts waters near Boston, then has been operated exclusively in fresh water on Green Bay, Wisconsin since 2019. Full maintenance records are available.
