2002 Island Packet 380

This 2002 Island Packet 380 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat with a proven design built for extended offshore voyaging. The 38-foot hull sits on a full keel with protected rudder and propeller, paired with a 50-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine for reliable auxiliary power. The boat features a flexible cutter rig, comfortable cockpit, wide side decks, and good storage throughout.

The interior holds two cabins and one head, with ample capacity for fresh water and fuel. Recent upgrades significantly enhance both comfort and safety systems: new standing rigging (March 2025), new sails (June 2024), and a complete overhaul of the electrical architecture including a Battle Born 400-amp-hour lithium battery system (October 2023), 560 watts of solar panels, and an Airex wind generator for independent power generation at anchor.
