2003 Atlas Boat Works Acadia 32

This 2003 Atlas Acadia 32 is a full-keel down east cruiser built on a proven lobster boat hull form. Powered by a single Yanmar 315-horsepower diesel engine, the boat cruises comfortably at 15 knots and reaches 20 knots at full throttle. The fiberglass hull features a protective deep keel, wide side decks with stainless safety rails, and non-skid surfaces throughout.

The pilothouse helm deck is fully enclosed with opening center windshield and side windows, overhead hatches, and excellent sightlines. The layout includes a settee that converts to a berth, galley with propane stove, solid surface counters, and a cherry pivoting table. Below deck, a lower cabin houses a full centerline berth with storage, a portside settee, hanging lockers, and an enclosed head with shower stall and freshwater Vacu-Flush toilet. The boat is equipped with a 12,000 BTU reverse cycle air conditioning unit and hot water system.

Recent substantial work includes new electrical systems and wiring upgraded to current ABYC standards with Victron components, new solar panels with charge controller, replacement battery banks and chargers, new stern thruster, rebuilt anchor locker with new chain and rode, new dripless shaft seal, and an overhauled engine compartment with new fire suppression system. Additional updates include a NovaKool refrigerator, larger galley sink with sprayer, new cabin hatches, new cockpit storage, LED lighting, and new bimini with Eisenglass and screens.

Navigation and control systems include a Garmin 7610 GPS with depthsounder, Simrad AP35 autopilot, Icom VHF radio, Lofrans windlass, hydraulic steering, and trim tabs. The boat carries a Rocna anchor plus backup ground tackle, features a stainless transom davit for tender management, and includes a dinghy with electric outboard. Engine hours are 1,812.
