The 2003 Catalina 34 MkII is a tall-rig sailing yacht built with fiberglass construction and designed for serious cruising. She features a shoal keel that opens up shallow-water options, paired with a Universal 30 hp diesel engine (approximately 2,726 hours). The boat is rigged for short-handed sailing with electric genoa winches, UK Tape Drive sails, and an asymmetrical spinnaker. A feathering MaxProp, dripless shaft seal, and new bottom paint applied in 2024 complete the propulsion and hull systems.
Deck and cockpit layout emphasize ease of handling and comfort at sea. The boat carries a Rocna 15 kg anchor with 220 feet of chain, davits with a 2025 Oxxean 9-foot dinghy, and a Mercury 2.5 hp outboard (only 3 hours of use). Shade and weather protection come from a dodger and bimini, while a walk-through transom provides direct water access.
Below deck, accommodation includes two cabins and a bright salon with a settee convertible to sleeping quarters. The galley is equipped with a 2-burner propane stove and oven, plus a high-capacity fridge and freezer. Hot water, a spacious head with shower, and ample tankage support extended cruising. An Espar diesel heater and solar panel round out the systems.
Navigation and automation are handled by Raymarine electronics: an Autohelm autopilot, S90 Tridata, C90 chart plotter, and radar. The boat underwent survey in August 2025 and is noted as in very good condition, with a clean, well-organized engine space and consistent maintenance throughout.
