2003 Catalina 387

The 2003 Catalina 387 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat built to accommodate serious offshore voyagers. At 38 feet with a 12-foot beam, it offers a proven design known for functional layout and robust construction. Power comes from a 40-horsepower Yammer diesel, delivering a cruising speed of 6.25 knots and a maximum speed of 7.63 knots.

Below deck, the boat features two cabins and one head, configured for extended cruising comfort. The accommodations reflect the model's design philosophy of prioritizing livability and practicality for long passages.

Recent work includes a complete bottom job: the hull was taken to gelcoat, a barrier coat applied, and finished with Pettit Trinidad SR paint. Standing rigging and chainplates are new. The boat carries a 20-kilogram Rocna anchor and is equipped with heavy-duty davits. The Yammer engine has received regular maintenance and continues to run well.
