Levantina is a 52-foot custom sailing yacht built in 2003 by Valena Yat in Bodrum, Turkey. Designed by naval architects Alparslan Tekoğul and Mustafa Özkalay, she combines traditional wooden construction with modern engineering. The yacht features a wooden hull, a single 169-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine, and is rigged for cruising at 7.5 knots with a maximum speed of 9.5 knots.
The accommodation layout includes six cabins, providing comfortable sleeping quarters for guests and crew. The boat was designed to balance classic aesthetics with practical comfort for extended cruising and coastal exploration in varying sea conditions.
Recent work has upgraded the mast and boom to aluminum Z-Spars units finished in white, replacing the original wooden spars while maintaining the yacht's traditional character. The hull and keel have been stripped and treated with primer, fairing compound, and antifouling paint as part of ongoing maintenance. These improvements reflect careful stewardship of the yacht's condition and performance.
