2003 Hunter 426

The Hunter 426 is a 42-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat built in 2003, designed around a spacious two-cabin, two-head layout suited to coastal cruising or extended voyages. The aft stateroom features a walk-around queen bed, while the forward cabin and generous salon provide comfortable accommodation. The 14-foot beam and open cockpit with full enclosure and integrated BBQ create an inviting space for time at sea.

Power comes from a Yanmar 56-horsepower diesel engine with approximately 900 hours of service. The yacht carries a Kohler 6-kilowatt generator, Magnum 4,000-watt inverter-charger, and Webasto reverse-cycle heating and air conditioning. House batteries were replaced in January 2025, and a Victron battery monitor provides system visibility.

Sailing hardware includes an Ullman in-mast furling mainsail, UK 130 percent genoa, Harken self-tailing winches, and an electric primary winch; running rigging was replaced in 2021. Navigation relies on a Raymarine system centered on a 12-inch Axiom HybridTouch display, Quantum radar, EV-200 autopilot, and ICOM VHF with remote helm microphone. The bottom was painted in June 2024. Interior cushions, mattresses, and canvas have been renewed, and various plumbing and onboard systems have been upgraded throughout.
