2003 Mainship Pilot 34 Sedan

The 2003 Mainship Pilot 34 Sedan is a fiberglass downeast cruiser powered by twin Yanmar 4LHA-STP diesel engines delivering 240 horsepower each. The boat cruises comfortably at 18–20 mph and measures 34 feet in length with a 12-foot 3-inch beam, drawing just 2 feet 10 inches. She sleeps four and offers straightforward, easy-to-maintain systems with generous engine access and classic downeast styling.

The interior includes a spacious salon, fully equipped galley, private stateroom, and vacuum-flush head. A 3.5-kilowatt NextGen generator with sound shielding powers the 12,000 BTU air conditioning system, refrigerator, and stove. Fuel capacity is 250 gallons with 70 gallons of fresh water and a 20-gallon holding tank. Cabin headroom reaches 6 feet 4 inches.

Electronics include a Raymarine Axiom Pro 12-inch chartplotter with RealVision 3D dual thru-hull transducers (installed 2021), a Raymarine ST8002 hydraulic autopilot, VHF radio with cockpit handset, and dual engine instrumentation. A Richie compass and Boss Audio Bluetooth system with cockpit speakers round out the pilothouse setup. The boat carries a 33-pound Rocna Vulcan galvanized anchor and 300 feet of half-inch anchor line with 54 feet of three-eighths-inch chain.

The boat has received extensive service and upgrades since 2018: new stainless steel drive shafts, shaft seals, propeller balancing, a Lewmar V700 windlass, fresh batteries, hull-side cabin hatches, full Sunbrella interior and enclosure, and a replaced salon headliner. A full marine overhaul was completed in May 2021, with engine alignment and high-water alarm systems installed that same year.
