2003 Monk 36 Trawler

The Monk 36 is a classic double-cabin trawler built in 2003 by Nova Scotia craftsmen. This fiberglass-hulled design is recognized for its traditional lines and solid construction, featuring quality teak joinery throughout the interior while keeping exterior teak to a minimum. Powered by a single 220-horsepower Cummins diesel engine, the yacht cruises at 8 knots with a maximum speed of 10 knots, making it well-suited to extended cruising.

The boat has undergone substantial electronics and systems upgrades in recent years. Navigation equipment includes new Raymarine Axiom chartplotters installed in both the pilothouse and flybridge, new Raymarine radar, new VHF radios, and AIS capability.
