The 2003 Perry Passagemaker 43 is a fiberglass catamaran built for extended cruising. At 43 feet long with a 22-foot beam, she offers substantial stability and room. Twin Volvo D2-55A diesel engines, each with 55 horsepower and equipped with saildrives, power the yacht. The engines show 2,562 and 2,649 hours respectively, with approximately 1,400 hours since overhaul on each. Both are fitted with 12-volt Reverso oil change systems and remote-mounted Racor fuel filters.
The interior layout centers on three cabins and two heads. The galley occupies the starboard hull with a 3.5-cubic-foot freezer, 4.8-cubic-foot refrigerator, SMEG two-burner stovetop with wall oven, large cockpit fridge, and ample pantry storage. Twin 100-gallon fresh water tanks support a newly installed 12-volt watermaker (November 2023, not yet used), dual 65-gallon black water tanks, and two electric heads with Class 3 MSD and Y-valves. A separate full-size shower is in the owner's hull, with two 10-gallon hot water heaters and outdoor swim shower.
Recent major upgrades include a Fisher Panda 6.5 kW generator (new January 2021, 320 hours), 615-ampere-hour AGM house battery bank, 455-watt bifacial solar panel with Victron MPPT controller, Magnum 2500-watt inverter, and Renogy 700-watt inverter. Raymarine electronics include a gS165 touchscreen multifunction display, 24-mile Quantum 2 radar, 650-AIS, and EV-400 autopilot. Sail suite comprises a new main (2020), 120% jib on roller furling (2020), and spinnaker, with six Harken winches and running rigging replaced within the last four years. The yacht carries a six-person life raft (new 2021), EPIRB, dinghy with outboard, and comprehensive safety and fishing gear.
