The 2003 Pursuit 3400 Express is a 34-foot fiberglass sportfisher built for offshore work. Twin Cummins QSB 380 diesel engines were installed in 2014 and have accumulated just 640 hours of use, delivering cruising speeds around 25 knots and a top speed of 30 knots. The hull and design have proven themselves as a capable fishing platform, with the engines offering strong torque and fuel efficiency suited to rough offshore conditions.
The helm features four custom chairs positioned for visibility and comfort during extended runs. A comprehensive electronics package includes Furuno Searchlight Sonar for fish-finding and navigation. The fishing setup is heavily upgraded with a green stick for spreader bar and teaser work, larger outriggers for wider trolling spreads, multiple power outlets in the cockpit for electric reels, and powerful LED lighting for night operations.
The original generator was removed and replaced with a hydraulic unit driven off the port engine, freeing up engine room space and reducing maintenance needs. Accommodations sleep four. The boat is equipped for both tournament fishing and extended cruising.
