2003 Silverton 43 Motor Yacht

This 2003 Silverton 43 Motor Yacht is a fiberglass-hulled cruiser powered by twin Cummins diesel engines rated at 900 horsepower combined, delivering a cruising speed of approximately 15.6 knots and a maximum speed of 18.25 knots. The distinctive SideWalk deck design eliminates traditional narrow side decks, instead providing molded walkways that allow for a full-beam salon without compromising foredeck access. The result is an unusually spacious interior layout with large wraparound windows and high ceilings that create an open living environment.

The accommodations include two staterooms with queen-size berths, each with innerspring mattresses and abundant storage. The split-head configuration—one forward and one aft—serves both staterooms and includes shower facilities. The salon features a large settee and dinette arrangement, while the galley is fitted with a Norcold refrigerator, dishwasher, updated faucets, and pull-out pantry storage. An aft covered deck includes a wet bar and enclosure. The flybridge offers helm station with clear sightlines forward and guest seating aft.

Electronics upgrades from September 2023 include a Raymarine 12-inch chartplotter, Doppler radar, AIS transceiver, depth transducer, backup camera, and Starlink connectivity. Power systems were significantly upgraded with an 800 amp-hour house battery bank and a 4000-watt inverter installed in January 2024. Comfort amenities include washer/dryer combo and dual air conditioning systems. Waterproof vinyl plank flooring was installed in December 2023.

The mechanical and systems history is extensive. Recent work includes shaft seals, rudder seals, and trim tab hydraulics rebuilt along with new propellers (August 2023); transmission service (December 2023); replacement of all cooling hoses, belts, impellers, and filters (January 2024 and 2025); alternators (2024); port starter (September 2024); freshwater pump (April 2024); all bilge pumps (January 2025); and bow thruster motor rebuilt (January 2025). Bottom paint was applied in April 2024, and the flybridge canvas was sealed in May 2024.
