The 2003 Strike 35 Cuddy is a 35-foot sportfish built on a solid fiberglass hull with a steep 56-degree bow entry and 23 degrees of deadrise aft, delivering an offshore ride characteristic of much larger boats. Twin Yanmar 440-horsepower electronic diesel engines installed new in 2023 power the boat, offering favorable fuel efficiency compared to large outboard alternatives. The hull incorporates prop pockets, a practical feature for shallow-water operation in areas like the Bahamas and Florida Keys. Strike Yachts is recognized for semi-custom construction, and this boat features solid fiberglass bottoms with Nida-Core composite cored decks and hatches.
The cuddy cabin includes a bunk, a head, and substantial storage space. The helm is outfitted with dual 12-inch Garmin chartplotters, a Garmin sounder module, Garmin radar, and Garmin autopilot, paired with Glendinning electronic synchronized controls and Palm Beach-style single-lever throttle management. Navigation and safety equipment includes an Icom M506 VHF radio, FLIR camera with night vision, and a remote-controlled ACR spotlight.
A total bow-to-stern refit was completed in 2023 by C&A Marine of Pompano Beach, Florida, including a complete paint job. The boat features new 2023 diamond stitch upholstery, a bow thruster, Bennett trim tabs, Taco outriggers, a large transom-mounted fishbox, and a transom gate. A Fusion stereo system with JL Audio speakers and subwoofer rounds out the entertainment package. A removable cockpit seat and backrest complete the fishing layout.
