The 2018 Scout 355 LXF is a 35-foot composite sportfish powered by triple Mercury 350 XL outboards with joystick control, delivering serious offshore performance backed by Scout's dual stepped hull technology. The boat has been equipped with an extensive electronics suite including dual Garmin 8612 displays, a Garmin 8616, Garmin 1224 xHD2 open array radar, B175L and B175H transducers, and a VHF 315 radio. The engines have approximately 460 hours of service.
The open cockpit layout features heated helm seating and an independent heated forward console with a double sun deck lounge. An integrated forward-facing bow camera displays to the helm screens, and the transom includes a hot and cold water shower. The deck can accommodate a SeaKeeper 3 DC gyro stabilizer mounted beneath the aft-facing bench seat, with solar panels that trickle-charge the house battery system when the stabilizer is ordered. An optional electric fiberglass sun shade and detachable bow shade provide weather protection.
The cabin interior includes a V-berth with new cushions and refinished appointments, a galley with refrigerator and porcelain sink with Corian vanity, air conditioning, a 19-inch television with JL speakers, and an electric bow dinette table. The marine head features an electric overboard discharge and 11-gallon holding tank. Standard audio is a deluxe upgrade with eight 7.7-inch JL speakers, two 10-inch subwoofers, and a JL amplifier.
Additional features include Lumishore SMX22 underwater lights, electric trim tabs, Taco cranking outriggers, an anchor camera, a spotlight, electric reel plugs, and new batteries. The boat is finished in full black hull color and includes a full boat cover.
