2004 Broom 42 CL

The 2004 Broom 42 CL is a fiberglass sedan bridge designed for extended cruising in coastal and inland waters. Twin Yanmar diesel engines deliver 630 horsepower, supported by a bow thruster and recently serviced with approximately 650 hours on the clock. The boat presents a light and spacious interior throughout, with full teak decks including bathing platform and cockpit.

The accommodation comprises two en-suite cabins with generous floor space and storage, plus convertible berths in the dinette and saloon for additional sleeping arrangements. The galley is equipped with a three-burner gas hob, gas oven and grill, microwave, and Avonite worktops. Two heads serve the accommodation, with electric models installed new in 2024. Heating is provided by a warm air system, and there is a built-in dehumidifier throughout.

The boat carries comprehensive navigation and entertainment systems: Raymarine radar, chart-plotter, GPS, speed, depth and wind instruments, and autopilot, alongside a new Pioneer Bluetooth audio system. A 4kW generator supports onshore operations, with shore power and battery charger provision. The cockpit features a new 2025 canopy enclosure and is appointed for year-round use and dining.

Recent updates include new electric winch cutlass bearings fitted in 2025, a new cockpit canopy enclosure added in 2025, and new electric toilets installed in 2024. The inventory is comprehensive and includes hydraulic radar arch, quick-release canopy system, electric anchor winch, Cooney Marine davit arm, and full galley and head facilities.
