This 2004 Carver 396 motor yacht measures 40 feet 7 inches in length with a 13-foot 11-inch beam. The fiberglass hull uses a modified Vee design for stability and ride quality. Twin Volvo Penta 8.1L GXiL-D(F) inboard engines, each rated at 420 horsepower, power the yacht to a cruising speed of around 14 mph and maximum hull speed near 24 mph.
