The 2004 Gozzard 37B is a fiberglass cutter-rigged cruising yacht built for offshore capability and ease of handling. The deep keel and cutter rig provide stability, while the in-mast furling mainsail, self-tacking staysail, and furling Genoa on the bowsprit allow all sail controls to be managed from the cockpit, making the boat suitable for short-handed sailing. A new Beta Marine 50 horsepower diesel engine with zero hours powers the yacht, paired with a 4 horsepower bow thruster. At 37 feet with a 12-foot beam, the boat fits under intracoastal waterway bridges while maintaining offshore seaworthiness.
Navigation and onboard systems include Raymarine electronics—autopilot, RL70C color radar, 230 VHF with remote, ST60 wind instrument, and 530 chartplotter. An electric Maxwell 1200 windlass, Lewmar primary winch, and teak steering wheel support deck operations. Below, a Spectra watermaker, Xantrex 1500 watt inverter, solar panels, and alternator with regulator provide independence at sea. A Force 10 diesel heater and two-burner stove with oven service the galley. Fresh water capacity is 117 gallons, fuel 67 gallons, and holding tank 27 gallons.
The mainsail is from 2018, with a furling staysail from 2013 and gently used furling Genoa. Recent maintenance includes new bottom paint and wax applied in May 2026. A new rigid inflatable dinghy with Tohatsu outboard and dinghy davits are included. Additional features encompass a full cockpit enclosure, walk-through transom with swim step and stainless steel ladder, and exterior chainplates. This hull number 15 is configured as a capable platform for extended offshore cruising and living aboard.
