The 2004 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 35 is a 35-foot fiberglass cruiser designed by Marc Lombard for balanced comfort and performance. Powered by a Yammer 3YM30 diesel with 29 horsepower and 1,645 hours on the engine, the boat handles well under power and sail. Its design prioritizes easy handling, with all lines led to the coachroof, a furling headsail, and a large cockpit with wheel steering—features that make it suitable for both family cruising and racing.
The deck layout includes a dodger, bimini, and connector; a washdown pump on the foredeck; and an electric windlass for anchor work. Sail inventory comprises a main and jib, plus spares, with a stack pack for the mainsail. Recent updates include new halyards with Dynema core on the main, newly replaced headsail sheets, a new outhaul and topping lift, and new snap shackles.
Below, the main cabin offers a spacious saloon with a convertible table, teak and holly sole, and bright wood trim. The galley is equipped with a two-burner stove and oven, double stainless steel sinks, and a 12V refrigerator. An electric flush head and water heater with an outdoor heated shower support cruising comfort. Air conditioning with reverse cycle heat pump, flexible 200-watt solar on the bimini with MPPT controller, and LED lighting throughout provide modern convenience.
A significant refit package was completed in June 2025, including a full bottom job and keel work. Additional recent work covers a replaced raw water through-hull, updated Raycor fuel-water separator, newer shaft seal service, and propane tanks recently inspected and recertified. A new Icom VHF radio and new companion way lock round out the recent upgrades.
