The Lagoon 570 is a 57-foot catamaran with a 30-foot beam, built in 2004 from fiberglass. Twin Volvo diesel engines, each rated at 150 horsepower, provide propulsion. The catamaran is fitted with an electric windlass for anchoring and features a spacious, open layout designed for comfort and social gatherings.
Recent upgrades include new engines installed in 2019, new rigging added in 2019 and again in 2020, and a new downwind sail with matching Elvstrom sails. The trampoline was replaced, and the water heating system was renewed. Solar panels and a battery bank of three 460-amp-hour Epoch lithium batteries were added to the electrical system.
