This 2004 Leopard 42 catamaran is a fiberglass hull measuring 41 feet with a beam of nearly 23 feet, designed for comfortable cruising and extended time at sea. Powered by two Yanmar diesel engines fitted in 2018 and running just 950 hours each, the boat features a rare shaft drive transmission with stainless steel construction and a dripless seal, keeping the bilges dry. The engines operate mechanically rather than electronically, a practical choice for world cruising where diesel mechanics are widely available.
Below deck, the yacht offers four staterooms and four ensuite heads, including two fresh water electric heads and two manual salt water heads. Systems supporting independent cruising include 2100 watts of solar panels with interfaced technology that captures energy from water reflection as well as direct sunlight, 1200 amp-hour lithium batteries, and a 30 gallon-per-hour reverse osmosis water maker with dual 40-inch membranes. Electronics for safety include radar, AIS, HF radio with Pactor modem, and two independently fitted autopilots.
The hull was painted with Awlgrip by Hinckley Yachts in Stuart, Florida in 2015. Recently the boat has been antifouled, polished, and had prop-speed applied. The yacht was surveyed in September 2025. Construction throughout reflects attention to detail, with operation and repair manuals organized onboard for all major equipment and an engine layout that positions the diesel units under the aft cabin berths for protection and accessible maintenance.
