The 2004 Meridian 490 Pilothouse is a 49-foot fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin Cummins diesel engines rated at 660 horsepower. She cruises at 15.6 knots with a top speed of 20.9 knots. The raised pilothouse provides commanding visibility and houses the helm station with full electronics. Wide side decks and a covered cockpit support safe and efficient handling both at anchor and underway.
The three-stateroom, two-head layout accommodates extended cruising and liveaboard use. The main salon and galley provide ample space for dining and entertaining, while custom mattresses have been installed in the master and guest suites. The boat measures 15 feet across the beam, offering generous interior volume throughout.
Recent maintenance includes a full engine and generator service completed in May, with all fluids and anodes replaced. Cooling systems for both generator and engines were flushed in July. The bottom was painted in November 2024, and new Shark cutters were added to the shafts along with waterless shaft seals. A new 20-gallon water heater and fresh water pump have been installed, and four batteries were replaced in 2025. Electronics were upgraded in 2021 with two transducers and a sound system. New Bimini and canvas covers were added in 2025, and new carbon monoxide sensors and smoke alarms rated for extended service life are in place.
A tender is included with the boat.
