2004 Nautitech 40 Open

This 2004 Nautitech 40 is a French-built catamaran designed for offshore cruising and family sailing. The hull features a slim, stable design that delivers strong performance under sail while remaining forgiving to handle. At nearly 40 feet long with a 21-foot beam, the boat offers the spacious, stable platform the Nautitech 40 is known for.

The accommodations center on a generous saloon with 360-degree vision, featuring a practical galley on the starboard side with large sliding windows to the cockpit and seating for up to ten. Below deck are four double cabins with ample storage, served by two bathrooms with hot and cold pressurized showers. The design balances comfort with cruising functionality, with all galley appliances and storage accessible and well-organized.

Propulsion comes from two Yanjem 3YM30AE diesel engines with saildrives, installed in 2021 with 1,364 hours on each. A full suit of new sails was added in 2021: fully battened mainsail, genoa with UV cover, and gennaker on a top-down furler. Running rigging was completely replaced; standing rigging dates to 2017. The rig is supported by four Lewmar winches, a primary SPADE anchor with 40 meters of chain, and a secondary FOB anchor. An electric windlass was installed in January 2025.

The electrical system includes 660 ampere-hours of house battery capacity with solar charging, twin 125-amp alternators, and a Victron inverter. Navigation electronics are comprehensive: Raymarine multifunction display with autopilot, VHF with GPS, AIS transponder, and radar. Additional systems include a watermaker, washing machine, dual autopilots, and a freshwater capacity of 650 liters. The boat includes a dinghy with outboard installed in May 2025, scuba equipment, paddleboard, and kayak.
