The 2004 Protector Targa 28 is a 28-foot rigid inflatable boat built with a deep-V fiberglass hull and heavy-duty inflatable tubes. Twin Suzuki engines rated at 400 horsepower provide a top speed of 45 knots, with a cruising speed around 25 knots. The design combines offshore capability with a soft, stable ride in rough water, drawing on the builder's heritage in commercial and rescue craft.
