2004 Silverton 48 Convertible

This 2004 Silverton 48 Convertible is a fiberglass sports cruiser powered by twin Volvo Penta D12-715 turbo diesel engines delivering 715 horsepower each, paired with ZF transmissions. She cruises at 25 knots with a top speed of 29 knots and is supported by a 19kW Kohler diesel generator. A 19-foot beam and 50-foot length provide substantial volume for extended offshore cruising.

The three-stateroom, two-head layout offers comfortable accommodations across the boat. The master stateroom amidships features a queen berth, ensuite head with shower, and cedar-lined storage. Forward is a VIP cabin with centerline berth, ensuite head, and shower. A third cabin with twin bunks provides additional sleeping space. The main salon features panoramic windows, comfortable seating and dining, and a galley equipped with a three-burner cooktop, dual-zone and single refrigerators, convection microwave, trash compactor, and dual sinks. The flybridge offers excellent visibility and helm seating with a molded staircase for easy access.

Navigation and engine management systems include dual Raymarine RL80C radar/GPS units, Raymarine ST7001+ autopilot, Standard Horizon VHF with AIS, and dual Volvo Penta engine displays. The boat is outfitted with a bow thruster, Bennett trim tabs, hydraulic steering, Maxwell windlass with foot controls, and a five-zone air conditioning and heating system. A Walkers Bay tender with 30HP Honda outboard and bow-mounted davit are included. Recent service includes new battery chargers, new refrigerator and freezer, bridge enclosure replacement, and ongoing engine and generator maintenance. A washer/dryer combo, central vacuum system, and multiple storage areas throughout complete the accommodation package.
