2004 Stardust Cruisers San Juan Sunrise Trip #23 (June 7-13)

The San Juan Sunrise is a 75-foot by 16-foot aluminum houseboat built by Stardust Cruisers in 2004. Powered by twin 260 HP fuel-injected MerCruiser V8 engines and supported by a 15KW Westerbeke generator, the boat carries 334 gallons in main fuel tanks plus 200 gallons auxiliary capacity, with 200 gallons fresh water and 300 gallons holding tank. Recent upgrades include new electrical wiring throughout the entire boat and a new inverter paired with a solar charging system using LiFePO4 batteries, both installed in 2025.

Accommodations sleep up to 20 adults across a master suite with king bed and full bath, three private suites with queen beds, a queen sofa-sleeper in the forward salon, and additional upper deck sleeping space. The interior features custom maple cabinetry, fabric ceiling with dropped soffits, full carpeting in cabin and decks, and tile flooring in the galley and bathrooms. Climate control comes via central air conditioning and heating. A full galley includes a range, oven, microwave, dishwasher, two 18-cubic-foot refrigerator-freezers with ice maker, trash compactor, and a full-size chest freezer on the front deck (new). Washer and dryer are on board, along with below-deck storage.

Entertainment systems include a 32-inch TV with VCR and DVD in the main salon, 20-inch TV/VCR combinations in the master and forward upper suite, and an 8-speaker 10-CD stereo. The helm features a complete instrument panel, captain's chair, and Micro Commander electronic controls, with a full fly-bridge and walk-through fly-bridge on the upper deck. Navigation equipment includes ship-to-shore marine radio, electronic systems, and running and drive lights.

The upper deck was fully renovated in 2024 and includes stationary and 30-foot canopies with rope lighting, a wet bar with sink and ice box, safety rails and canvas, and docking equipment. Outside amenities feature a rear deck water slide with pump, jet ski davit with heavy-duty hoist, front deck BBQ grill with tank and accessories, outdoor patio furnishings, extended swim platform, swim ladder, and boarding ramps.
