The 2005 Bavaria Cruiser 39 is a three-cabin cruising sailboat built in fiberglass with a 1.85-meter keel that delivers solid sailing performance. Powered by a 55 hp Volvo Penta diesel engine with in-mast furling and equipped with a side-power bow thruster, the yacht combines manageable power with capable handling under sail. The engine has logged just 377 hours and received a new propeller in 2025.
The interior is spacious and well-appointed across three cabins. The saloon features lockers and drawers throughout, while the galley is L-shaped with a double stainless steel sink, top-loading refrigerator, two-burner stove with oven, and microwave. The head includes an underwater pump toilet, shower, hot and cold water, and a wastewater tank. Fuel capacity is 150 liters, with 300 liters of fresh water and approximately 50 liters of blackwater storage.
The electrical system runs on both 220V shore power and 12V, with three 180 Ah AGM service batteries installed in 2022 and a dedicated engine battery from 2018. Navigation includes Raymarine electronics: a hybrid touch chart plotter with GPS, ST6001 autopilot, ST wind and depth instruments, a 54E VHF radio, and a compass. The rigging features Selden mast and boom with Lewmar hardware, including two 44ST and two 40ST winches, plus a Furlex 300 S furler for the headsail.
Deck amenities include teak laid on the cockpit bunks, side deck, and cabin sole, a sprayhood and bimini, swimming ladder, electric anchor winch, stainless steel railing at the stern, and a cockpit table. An Eberspächer heating system, life raft, and comprehensive safety equipment are on board. The saloon upholstery requires some repairs. Recent work includes a new exhaust pipe and sail drive seal replaced in 2021, plus a boiler installed in 2025.
