2005 Carver 38 Super Sport

The 2005 Carver 38 Super Sport is a fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin Volvo diesel engines producing 740 horsepower, with a cruising speed of 24 knots and a maximum speed of 30 knots. The boat measures nearly 40 feet in length with a 13.4-foot beam, offering a well-proportioned platform for extended cruising or sport fishing.

The open layout prioritizes social spaces and views. A large cockpit serves as the center of activity, complemented by a swim platform and a bridge-level wet bar with lounge seating. The interior features two-tiered windows that frame vistas throughout the salon and galley, with a raised dinette and L-shaped lounge positioned for optimal scenery viewing. The galley includes solid-surface countertops and full equipment. Below deck are two staterooms finished in cherry wood; the master stateroom offers direct head access, while a second head serves guests from the hallway.

The boat was hauled out in November 2025 for a full bottom job and related maintenance. Recent work includes new air conditioning units, new impellers for both engines and the generator, turbos, starter, exhaust system, oil coolers, shaft seals, and repacked rudders. A Bluetooth stereo system was also installed. The yacht is equipped as a sport-fisher through Carver's sport package option.
