2005 Doral Alegria

This 2005 Doral Alegria is a 50-foot diesel motor yacht built on a fiberglass hull with twin Volvo Penta TAMD75 engines producing 480 horsepower each. The boat cruises in the mid-20 knot range with a top speed of 36.6 knots, drawing on a shallow draft thanks to deep prop pockets. With approximately 1,700 engine hours and a 30,000-pound displacement, the Alegria combines European-inspired styling with capable performance suited to both weekend getaways and extended cruising.

The cockpit is anchored by a fiberglass hardtop and centers on a fully equipped wet bar with refrigerator, icemaker, and sink. Multiple lounge areas with teak tables, Bluetooth sound integration, and an upgraded helm with a real wood steering wheel create an entertaining space that flows seamlessly to an aft swim platform. The factory-installed hydraulic platform operates by remote control, simplifying tender and PWC handling. Dual transom doors open to a flat deck, and the aft area includes integrated lockers, shower facilities, hose reels for air and water, and powerful floodlights for night docking.

Below deck, the salon spans seven feet of headroom and features lacquered cherry cabinetry, ultraleather seating, large windows, and a Raymarine electronics suite with autopilot, radar, and GPS. Two staterooms and two heads accommodate cruising parties comfortably. The forward master includes a queen berth, cedar-lined closet, and ensuite head with shower. The aft stateroom converts between twin or queen beds and is equipped with washer, dryer, and freezer for extended voyages. A galley with refrigerator, freezer, cooktop, microwave, and coffee maker supports independent living aboard.

The boat carries 400 gallons of fuel in dual tanks, 92 gallons of fresh water, and maintains redundant black water systems with independent plumbing. A Kohler 8-kilowatt diesel generator with approximately 3,822 hours powers hotel loads. Navigation and docking aids include Raymarine electronics, bow and stern thrusters with remote controls, bow and anchor cameras, dual spotlights, and anchor windlass. The Alegria has been freshwater-maintained and includes satellite television, LED lighting throughout, central vacuum, and comprehensive deck hardware and safety equipment.
